Town of Rye No Longer Accepting Cash Payments for Water & Sewer Services
As of January 1, 2023, the Town of Rye will no longer accept cash payments for Water and Sewer Services due to security and safety purposes. Checks, Money Orders, and Cashier's Checks will still be accepted and may be submitted by mailing to P.O. Box 236 Rye, CO 81069 or dropping off at the Town Hall Drop Box at 2067 Main St. Rye, CO 81069.
Debit Card, Credit Card and E-Check payments can be made by calling the Town Clerk at 719-489-2011 or at the Town of Rye website under the "Make an Online Payment" tab.
Board of Trustees Passed Ordinance 2022-10 IP Program & Oil and Grease Management Program
On December 6, 2022, the Board of Trustees passed Ordinance 2022-10 implementing an IP Program & Oil and Grease Management Program effective January 1, 2023. This Ordinance directly effects establishments in the Town of Rye such as restaurants, cafes, schools, daycare centers, automotive service shops, car washes, etc.
Accepting Applications for Water Treatment Plant Operator Assistant
The Board of Trustees for the Town of Rye are accepting applications for the Water Treatment Plant Operator Assistant position. This is a part-time position working 30 hours or less per month. Pay is to be determined by the Board based on experience. If you are interested in applying for the position, please submit your resume to rye.town.clerk@gmail.com by November 8, 2022.
